We’re excited to introduce MyrSpaceCardio, myriamed GmbH’s new space-based initiative advancing cardiac tissue engineering through the unique benefits of microgravity.

As part of European Space Agency – ESA ’s Life Science Accelerator, we’re working to overcome Earth-bound limitations in engineered heart muscle development and create more physiologically relevant cardiac models for research and drug discovery.

In partnership with KIST Europe and Exobiosphere , #MyrSpaceCardio combines our expertise in heart muscle screening with cutting-edge spaceflight engineering and biomedical analytics.

By studying tissue formation in orbit, we aim to unlock improved maturation, structure, and function—driving innovation for cardiac research both in space and on Earth.
